Tagmarshal offers golf course management solutions aimed at increasing pace of play. The Tagmarshal system uses a series of small tags clipped onto one bag per golf group, or installed into carts, which transmit GPS data to course operations staff. It sends a signal every 20 to 30 seconds back to the clubhouse where the main system is set up. The system can track the location of all the four-balls on the course. It provides an accurate overview of where everybody is on the course. The company is based out of Capetown and has raised funds from Berlin-based investor Christian Vollmann.
