How this page is built. Every figure is counted from recorded funding rounds — 1,171,168 investor-to-company legs drawn from Tracxn round data and reconciled against Fliar’s company master, which supplies each company’s head-office city and sector tags. Government grants are excluded: public-money awards are a third of all recorded legs and their largest “investors” are agencies, not funds, so counting them would put the European Commission on a page about venture capital. Round values are the total size of the round, not one investor’s share, which is not disclosed. Where an amount was never published the round is counted but contributes nothing to the total, so disclosed value is a floor, not an estimate. Page data last refreshed 2026-08-29.
