New Found Gold completed a $115 million public offering this week, selling nearly 39 million shares at $2.96 each to fund development of its premier Queensway gold project in Newfoundland and Labrador.
McEwen Copper Inc. aims to raise about $300 million in an IPO by year end for an Argentina project.
Greenland Resources is developing a significant molybdenum deposit, contributing to critical raw material supply.
Canadian Copper structured its $96 million financing package.
Because Agnico Eagle already holds a 13.9 percent stake in Rupert, the deal is classified as a business combination under Multilateral Instrument 61-101, a regulatory framework designed to protect minority shareholders.
Denarius Metals Corporation has increased its all-share proposal to acquire Emerita Resources Corp. to CA$0.45 per share, valuing the company at approximately CA$133.48 million and representing a roughly 73% premium to recent trading levels.
Denarius Metals (CBOE: DMET) has significantly upped the ante in its pursuit of Emerita Resources (TSXV: EMO), increasing its unsolicited takeover bid to approximately $133 million.
The Toronto-based company will buy Rupert Resources Ltd. and Aurion Resources Ltd., and separately purchase B2Gold Corp.’s 70 per cent stake in an exploration joint venture with Aurion, according to a statement on Monday.
Uranium Royalty Corp (TSX: URC) is moving to significantly scale its North American footprint through a $1.9 billion merger with Sweetwater Royalties, a move that will establish the company as the largest private mineral landowner in Wyoming.
