Best Augmented Reality Companies in India
The 257 best Augmented Reality companies in India in 2026, ranked by funding and momentum. Funding, investors, founders, valuation, tech stack and live signals. Top: PlayShifu.
Ranking the best Augmented Reality companies in India by disclosed equity funding puts $113M on the table across 257 tracked companies, and not one of them has crossed unicorn status yet. That gap between capital and valuation tells you something. The global AR market sat at $14.7B in 2020 and is forecast to reach $85.5B by 2025 at a 38.1% CAGR, and as shown in 2015 research, the foundational perceptual challenges of AR have always shaped how slowly commercial scale arrives. PlayShifu leads India's funding table at $32M, with AjnaLens pulling $13M. But funding rounds aren't revenue. Across 62 filers, median revenue lands at $18,646, and median YoY growth is actually negative, down 15%.
The combined revenue pool of those 62 filers is roughly $27M, and one company is doing the heavy lifting. Trentar Private Limited filed $20M in revenue, up 241% year over year, a figure that dwarfs every other filer in the cohort. Cusmat Technologies Private Limited grew 68%, and Couture Ai Private Limited earned $109,634 in net income, 15x the sector median. I find that outsized profitability at small revenue scale genuinely interesting. Privacy concerns over AR data collection remain a real structural drag on enterprise adoption, which partly explains why growth at the median is still so uneven. The money here is concentrated, the path to scale is real, and the distance between the two is exactly what this directory helps you close.
